The LUX at The University of Denver project consists of 20,000 square feet of retail with 204 rental apartments above 3 levels of structured parking. This large building (6 residential lots) is designed to respond to the timeless nature and quality of the adjacent Denver University Campus as well as being sympathetic to the surrounding single family residential neighborhood. Though the adjacency of the University provides a resident base, the project is not designed as student housing. The exterior envelope; a contemporary blend of materials and articulation provides each unit with ample natural light and takes advantage of the vista opportunities. By providing structured integrated parking, the project minimizes the impact of traffic to the neighborhood.
